The word embodiment is becoming as ubiquitous as mindfulness these days. Wondering if the word is drifting in meaning, Annie and Jen look at what embodiment is through several lens including spirituality, philosophy and psychology. They also point out ways in which something may appear to be embodied but not.
And this is all a lead up to a series of upcoming explorations in what Annie has dubbed "The 12 Embodiments of Yoga."
Mentioned in this episode:
"Years and Years" on HBO
"Upload" on Amazon Prime
"Radical Wholeness" by Philip Shepherd (Note that neither Annie nor Jen have read this book nor are we familiar with the author. So this is not an endorsement. We just mentioned it on the show. If you've read this book, we'd love to know what you think. )
